Who we are
TEND™, including Find Home™ and early sign-up, is a service of Vera Healthcare Florida LLC, Orlando, Florida.
TEND Core™ (licensing services) is a service of Vera Healthcare, Inc., Raleigh, North Carolina, using the TEND™ name under license.
TEND Properties (the listing board, at /owners/) is a service of Vera Assisted Living Facilities Florida LLC, Florida, using the TEND™ name under license.
In this policy, "TEND," "we" and "us" mean whichever of these companies provides the service you use.
What we collect
Information you give us: your email address, your state, the role you choose (family, operator, healthcare professional or other), and the services you're interested in. If you contact us or use TEND Core, we also collect your name, contact details and the business information you share.
Usage information: we use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as pages visited, time on page, device type and approximate location (city or region). Google Analytics uses cookies.
Please don't send us medical records or health details through our forms, email or social media messages. TEND is not a healthcare provider, and our sign-up forms are not designed for health information.
How we use it
To send you the update you asked for when TEND opens in your state.
To respond to you and, for TEND Core clients, to deliver the services you engage us for.
To understand and improve the site.
We do not use your information for anything unrelated to these purposes.
What we never do
We never sell your information.
We never share your information with senior living communities, or anyone else, for marketing without your permission.
We never send answers you give about care needs or Medicaid to advertising or analytics companies.
Who helps us run the site
We use a small number of service providers who handle information only on our behalf:
Netlify: website hosting and form collection.
Google Analytics: site usage statistics.
Email services: to send you updates.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or our company.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep sign-up information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. For TEND Core clients, we keep business records for as long as the law and our engagement require.
Your choices
Unsubscribe: use the link in any email, or write to us.
See, correct or delete your information: email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website can promise perfect security, so please don't send sensitive information through our forms.
Children
TEND is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell people on our list by email.
